離散與連結 - 陳浩倫電影作品放映會

香港導演如何紀錄自己從離散到異地生活的歷程？我們能否保持公民質素，積極參與異地的議題？Trafford Hongkongers CIC 誠意邀請導演與觀眾分享在英國探索新生活希望與挑戰。

導演簡介

香港紀錄片導演陳浩倫先生剛於 2022 年畢業於蘇格蘭愛丁堡大學紀錄片導演碩士課程。留學期間曾參與蘇格蘭基層房屋運動，最新紀錄片作品《The Dispute》紀錄愛丁堡住屋危機，並透視英國教育產業及國際學生宿舍發展而引發的土地爭議。

同場亦會放映陳浩倫先生另外兩套作品，包括《回家路途》及《美好生活》。前者講述導演成長之地與社會運動的關聯；後者講述印尼人到香港當外藉家庭傭工的故事。

Fredie CHAN's Films Screening

How did a Hongkong film director record his progress of being diasporal and living in a new place? Can we remain our civic awareness, and proactively involve in social issues in the new place? Trafford Hongkongers CIC would like to invite the film director, Mr Fredie CHAN, to share with audience his experience in exploring a new life with hope and challenges in the UK.

Biography of Fredie CHAN

Mr Fredie CHAN is a Hongkonger documentary film director, graduating from a Master of Arts Programme in Film-Directing in The University of Edinburgh. During his study, he participated in housing movement in Scotland. His latest documentary 'The Dispute' reveals the controversy of land use and housing crisis in Edinburgh resulted from the education industry and student accommodation development.

In this event, another two Fredie's documentary films will be screened, including 'Uneasy Walk' and 'Beautiful Life'. The former documented the relations between his hometown, childhood and social movements, while the latter is a story of an Indonesian domestic helper's struggle in Hong Kong.
