送虎迎兔 Trafford 農曆新年活動 2023

Trafford Hongkongers CIC 再次得到 Trafford Council Inclusive Neighbourhood Grant 贊助，第二年為大家舉辦農曆新年活動。

活動日程：

11:00 - 12:15 家長講座（11:00 - 12:30 設托兒專區）

12:00 - 13:00 和你寫揮春

13:00 - 17:00 退休金講座

今年我地有大家最想要嘅《和你寫揮春》，你想自己寫又得，想我哋幫你寫又得。除此之外，我哋仲有幸請到三位嘉賓，喺兩個講座分享兩個在英香港人都會好關注嘅議題。包括:

1. 家長講座：由港講廣 Global Kids (https://www.globalkids.world) 嘅 James 做主持，以及資深語文老師暨前小學輔導主任 Miss Carmen 為我哋分享點樣幫下一代保持香港語水平。並設托兒專區（11:00 - 12:30），方便家長攜同小朋友到場；及

2. 退休金講座：由居英四十幾年嘅阿 Ben 為大家分享英國嘅退休金制度，以及佢嘅資產管理心得，適合所有年紀嘅英國打工仔，初到英國工作嘅你，一定要報呢個講座呀！

家長講座

設對談環節，內容如下:

1. 小朋友喺英國返學，香港語仲 keep 唔 keep 到㗎？實例分享

2. 呢一刻小朋友人在英國，語言發展會點樣走樣呢？分為：剛到步、到步一年及多過一年

3. 英國學香港語，應該 happy learning 定係 tough learning 呢？

4. 如果小朋友抗拒講同寫香港語，前輔導主任有咩實際可行建議可以幫到家長呢？

設托兒專區（11:00 - 12:30），方便家長攜同小朋友到場。

退休金講座

心得分享涵蓋以下內容:

第一部分:

1. 英國退休金制度

2. 為退休金及其他目的而設的儲蓄及資產管理計劃

3. 投資落唔同儲蓄及資產管理計劃嘅利弊

第二部分:

1. 邊度及如何投資

2. 退休金計劃嘅類型及成本

Trafford Lunar New Year Event 2023

Farewell the Year of the Tiger & Welcome the Year of the Rabbit

Schedule:

11:00 - 12:15 Seminar for parents (childminding area available)

12:00 - 13:00 Faichun-writing

13:00 - 17:00 Seminar about pensions

We will have faichun-writing session. You can write your own faichuns, or ask our volunteers to give you a helping hand. Moreover, we have invited honourable guests to sharing some hot topics among Hongkonger communities in the UK, including:

1. Seminar for parents: Host: James of Global Kids (https://www.globalkids.world); Speaker: Miss Carmen, a former primary school teacher and counselling teacher in Hong Kong. Childminding areas will be available so that parents can attend the seminar with least concern.

2. Seminar about pensions: Having 40+ years of lived experience in the UK, Ben will share his wisdom regarding pension and investment in the UK. This seminar is especially suitable for people who are working/planning to work in the UK.

Seminar for parents

A Q&A session will cover the following topics:

1. How can our kids keep their Hongkongese abilities?

2. How will our kids' language development be affected in the UK?

3. Should learning Hongkongese in the UK be a happy or tough one?

4. Practical advice from a former counselling teacher on kids refusing to speak and write Hongkongese

Childminding areas will be available from 11:00 to 12:30 so that you can the seminar with least concern.

Seminar about pensions

The sharing session includes the following topics:

Part 1:

1. UK Pension Saving rules and policy

2. Saving & investment schemes for pension & other purposes

3. The benefits of investing in Savings and Pension schemes

Part 2:

1. How & Where to invest

2. Cost & Types of investment
