冬至熱融祭

萬眾期待嘅「冬至熱融祭」終於公開留飛喇！大家仲唔快啲上去 Eventbrite 度留飛？！

2021年12月18日（星期六)，Trafford Hongkongers CIC 將會喺大曼徹斯特 Old Trafford 嘅 St. John's Centre （M16 7GX）度搞一個冬至活動，等所有人可以聚首一堂，飲下 coffee or tea，吹下水，互相認識。

活動會展出香港一啲常見嘅文化活動及物品，包括：書法、寫揮春、筷子、麻雀、魚蝦蟹、利是封。大家可以即席揮毫，展現自己嘅書法才能，用中文或英文寫下揮春、用筷子夾波子、疊下麻雀、試下搖圍骰、設計利是封、了解下香港歷史、學下基本嘅香港語，仲可以同「大月亮」影相添呀！

大家留意一下，由於 St. John's Centre 附近並冇大型停車場，希望大家能夠用公共交通公具前往場地。而活動當日,曼聯會喺主場對 Brighton（12:30 開場），所以我地建議大家喺 Trafford Bar Metrolink Station 落車前往場地！

是次活動由 Trafford Hongkongers CIC 主辦，並由 Trafford Council 嘅 Inclusive Neighbourhoods Grants 贊助，同時亦承蒙英國港僑協會、香港文化社、HKG International 以及 Salford Hongkongers 支持。希望到時見到大家，亦會見到大家帶埋英國鄰居及朋友仔嚟啦。

由於場地所限，參加者需透過 Eventbrite 留飛，及遵守英國政府嘅防疫規定。大會亦會提供消毒搓手液。

Winter Solstice Event

On 18th December 2021 (Sat), Trafford Hongkongers CIC (THCIC) will hold a Winter Solstice Event at St. John's Centre, Old Trafford, Greater Manchester (M16 7GX), welcoming everyone to participate in it and meet new friends.

In the event, some popular cultural items of Hong Kong will be displayed and demonstrated, such as, calligraphy, faichuns, chopsticks, mahjong, yuhahai, red packets. You can also show off your calligraphy, write some faichuns, use chopsticks, stack mahjong tiles, shake yuhahai dices, design your own red packets, understand the history of Hong Kong, learn some basic Hongkongese and take photo with a 'big moon'!

Since there is no carpark near St. John's Centre, and there will be a match of Manchester United vs Brighton starting at 12:30pm on that day, using public transport is recommended.

This event is organised by Trafford Hongkongers CIC, sponsored by the Inclusive Neighbourhoods Grants of Trafford Council, and supported by Hongkongers in Britain, Hong Kong Cultural Comunity, HKG International and Salford Hongkongers. Look forward to seeing you, your neighbours and friends.
